Covid Safety Policy:
The safety of our patrons and staff is of the utmost importance. We kindly ask that anyone who is not feeling well, has fever, or exhibited any signs of Covid-19 to stay home. As our festival is outdoors, there are no mask requirements. With that said, we advise all attendees to deploy best practices in regard to general hygiene such as distancing and regular handwashing.

What is your bag policy?
NO Backpacks, large purses, or bags allowed EXCEPT for:
YES Small Clutch bags (5.5” x 4.5”)
YES Fanny Packs/Waist Packs (5.5” x 4.5”)
YES Hydration packs with one additional pocket i.e. CamelBaks (bladder must be empty upon entry)
What can I bring?

ALL BAGS AND PERSONS CAN BE SEARCHED. ANY PROHIBITED ITEM THAT IS SURRENDERED TO SECURITY AT SEARCHPOINTS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. FARWELL AND CO./ VOL. SUMMER/The FarWell Foundation RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION ON ALLOWED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS WITHOUT NOTICE.
What time does the festival start?
Doors open at 10:00am at which time the ‘Space City’ art installation will be open.
Between 11:00am and 12:00pm (noon) our vendors, food trucks and music acts will begin.
Vol. Summer will conclude at approximately 11:00pm.
Will I be Searched?
To ensure the safety of our Vol. Summer family, all persons and property are subject to search at all times.
Failure to consent to a search will result in DENIAL of entry or EJECTION from the event.
Please plan ahead for enhanced security screening by arriving early during peak hours and help do your part to expedite the entry process by reviewing our prohibited items list, packing light, and leaving your bags at home to take advantage of our express NO-BAGLINES.
What Forms of Identification are acceptable to drink alcohol?
State Issued Driver’s License
Passport
Uniformed Services ID Card
Foreign Driver’s License
Expired Driver’s License + State-Issued Temporary [Paper]
Identification will not be required for entry through security checkpoints.
Can I bring my medications?
Yes, medications are allowed into the festival as long as they comply with the following:
No over-the-counter medication is permitted unless in unopened, factory-sealed packaging.
No vitamins or supplements of any kind are permitted.
Prescription Medication can only be brought into the festival ground with the following:
A valid photo ID (See list of acceptable forms of identification) Medication must be in original prescription bottle, in-date, legible, with name corresponding to photo ID Only one type of medication per bottle (matching the description printed on bottle) Any prescription controlled substances may only be brought in quantities reasonable for your time at the festival.

Will there be medical personnel on site?
We will have medical staff on site for the duration of Vol. Summer. Upon arrival, please take note of the location of our clearly-marked medical tent should you need to stop by throughout the day. If you need medical assistance, contact the nearest security official, staff member, ambassador, or medical staff, or go to the on-site medical tent. If you are not sure whether it is an emergency or not, assume it is and get help immediately. All of our safety and medical staff are here to help you enjoy the festival and make it home safely.
What about security?
Your health, safety and security are always our top priority. Vol. Summer’s Public Safety team is working closely with the City of Pasadena, as well as the Pasadena Police Department, regional and federal law enforcement and public safety agency partners to raise our preparedness and ensure a safe, secure, and positive environment is provided for all attendees, artists, and staff.
Should you need any assistance during your time with us, please proceed to the nearest medical tent or seek nearby uniformed event staff. All of our safety and medical staff are here to help you enjoy the festival and make it home safely.
What about people with disabilities?
Vol. Summer wants everyone to feel welcomed and comfortable. The festival grounds are wheelchair accessible and ADA bathrooms are provided. Questions or requests for accommodations can be directed to info@farwellandco.com.
Will there be a lost and found?
A Lost and Found will be located on site and will be available on the event map when it is released. Lost and Found inquiries after the conclusion of the event can be directed to info@farwellandco.com.
Will there be parking? How much does it cost?
Complimentary parking will be available on site but is limited. Please plan to use Uber/Lyft or your preferred ride share application for travel. Rideshare drop off and pick-up locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
Will credit cards be accepted at, merch and food booths?
Yes, all vendors will be required to accept cards, however Farwell and Co./Vol. Summer/The FarWell Foundation is not responsible for purchases made from our Vendors.
**NOTE** BARS WILL BE TICKET ONLY! PLEASE LOCATE TICKET BOOTHS UPON ARRIVAL TO THE FESTIVAL IF YOU WISH PURCHASE FROM THE BARS.
Will there be ATMs available?
Yet to be determined.
Is Vol. Summer Outdoors?
Yes and no, the ‘SpaceCity’ art exhibit is located in the 15,000 square foot, air conditioned, Campbell Hall. However, outdoors you will find covered stages (with fans),vendors, live graffiti art, themed bars (full bar) and much more. Please plan accordingly and stay within our listed guidelines.
What happens if it rains?
Vol. Summer is a RAIN OR SHINE event. With that said, our attendee’s safety is our top priority. Should inclement weather which poses a risk to the health and safety of our attendees force the cancellation of programing or evacuation of the outdoor portions of the festival grounds, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Texas weather can be unpredictable, so please keep an eye on the forecast, plan accordingly, and always listen for announcements from the Farwell and Co./Vol. Summer/The FarWell Foundation Team.
